Happy Mums Turns 10: A Decade of Support and Growth

This week, we celebrate an incredible milestone: Happy Mums is officially 10 years old! Over the past decade, this award-winning social enterprise has grown from a simple idea around a kitchen table into a vital source of support for maternal mental health in Cumbria.

Throughout these years, Happy Mums has been a lifeline to countless families, offering a safe space for mums to connect, share, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone. While we don’t have an exact count of the lives touched, we know that on average, around 100 families have benefitted from this invaluable support every year.

We’ll be celebrating properly in the summer with a picnic. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing memories from team members, mums, supporters and more. We’d love to hear your memories of Happy Mums too. Share them in the comments, on our socials, or email them to info@happymums.org.uk.
