Hello everyone,

Just a quick update from all of us at Happy Mums. We’ve got three things to share with you this month:

1. Join us for our 10th Anniversary Picnic
We can’t believe it’s been ten years! To celebrate, we’re having a relaxed picnic at Morton Manor Gardens on Saturday 28th June, from 11:30am to 2:30pm.

It’s a drop-in — bring your family, something to sit on and a bite to eat. Stay for as long or as little as you like. Whether Happy Mums helped you ten years ago or just last week, we’d love to see you. Let’s come together and quietly mark all the lives we’ve touched in North Cumbria over the past decade.

2. Help us show why Happy Mums matters
We’re applying for more funding so we can keep helping mums. To do this, we need more up-to-date research.

We’d be so grateful if you could fill in our short forms or share them with anyone you know in Cumbria — mums, families or professionals. There’s one for mums and one for professionals:

We’ve also got a few posts on Facebook that you can share — every share helps us grow stronger.

3. More ways to connect this summer
You may have seen that we’re trying out new events, like nature walks and outdoor ‘walk and talk’ groups. We now have a space on our website to keep you up to date with these, as not everyone uses Facebook these days.

If you know other good places where mums find out about local groups and events, do tell us — it helps us reach more mums who might need us.

We really hope to see lots of you at the picnic on 28th June. Keep an eye on the website and we’ll be in touch again soon.

Thank you for being part of the Happy Mums community.

Take care,
The Happy Mums Team
